In this tutorial, I take my first deep dive into X-Particles 3 to show you how to create melting, plasticine paint drips in Cinema 4D! If you don't know about X-Particles, you've been living under a rock for the past few years! It's a pretty amazing plug-in that makes creating and manipulating particles super easy. It was built with the intuitiveness of Cinema 4D's Mograph Module so it's got a pretty low learning curve. First, I'll start out by introducing the X-Particles Emitter, move onto covering a few particle modifiers and what they do. Then, we'll discover the really fun Skinner object and we'll finish up by applying a bit of fluid simulation forces to our particles by using the XP Fluids engine.
